Suggested Reading List

Policies
Kindergarten and 1st Grade will visit the library with their classes every week.  They will be allowed to check out 1 book and they can keep it for 1 week with the chance to renew for a second week.  In order to check out a new books they must return their book.
Students in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Grade will visit every week and be allowed to check out 2 books for a period of 2 weeks, although they must return a book in order to check out a new one each week.
Books may be renewed for one more week unless there is a wait list.
There are no late fines but in order to check out a new book, your account should be in good standing.  If a book is lost or severely damaged please pay the replacement cost.
Volunteers:
The library welcomes parent volunteers!  We always need help shelving books!  To do this you must be trained and familiar with our library. Once you are trained you can come almost any time during the day to volunteer.

Donations:
The library does take book donations but because donations need to be catalogued and processed individually by hand we do not solicit them.  That said, if you would like to donate we would love the books.  Donations should be in like-new condition. We will review the book to see if it fits into our collection.
Anything we cannot use can be returned to you, donated to a classroom, or to another org such as Project Cicero.

A big thank you for all donations and our wonderful volunteers!
